# Files overview

What each file in plugins/rnCasino does.

| `config.yml`                           | General settings: language, storage, how amounts look, values for new tables, payouts, rules, limits, announcements, the 3D model and sounds. See [config.yml](/rnsetups/rncasino/configuration/config.md). |
| `tables/<name>.yml`                    | One file per table: where it is, its wheel, currency, chips, limits, timers, size and permission. See [Tables](/rnsetups/rncasino/configuration/tables.md).                                                 |
| `menus.yml`                            | Layout of every menu: rows, slots, items, sounds and your own buttons. See [Menus](/rnsetups/rncasino/configuration/menus.md).                                                                              |
| `languages/en.yml`, `languages/es.yml` | Every text, including the words on the cloth. Add your own language by copying one. See [Languages](/rnsetups/rncasino/configuration/languages.md).                                                         |
| `data/casino.db`                       | Stats, daily limits, self-exclusions and the history of rounds (SQLite). Not used with MySQL.                                                                                                               |
| `data/open-bets.yml`                   | Bets of the rounds being played, so they can be given back after a crash (managed by the plugin).                                                                                                           |
| `backups/`                             | Copies of your files made before the plugin changes them, and the files of removed tables.                                                                                                                  |

## Safe updates

* New options of a new version are **added to your files** with their comments; nothing you wrote is changed.
* A file with a YAML mistake is never overwritten: the console shows the line and how to fix it, and the plugin uses the defaults until you fix it.
* Files are applied by themselves a few seconds after you save them (`auto-reload`), or with `/casino reload`.
