# How to play

Chips, the cloth, the buttons on the rail, the menu and the commands.

## A round

1. **Waiting**: the table waits for the first chip. Nothing runs until somebody bets.
2. **Bets open**: the first chip starts the timer (`betting-seconds`, 30 by default). Everybody can bet until it ends. A chip placed in the last seconds brings the timer back up to `extend-seconds` once per round, so nobody is cut off by a late click.
3. **No more bets**: two seconds, then the wheel starts.
4. **Spinning**: the wheel turns and the ball rolls for `spin-seconds`.
5. **Result**: the winning pocket glows, the number goes on the hologram, winners are paid, and every player gets a title and a chat line. After `result-seconds` the chips are cleared and the table waits again.

## Betting on the table

| Action                     | How                                              |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Pick a chip                | Right click a chip on the rail (100, 500, 1k...) |
| Put a chip on a spot       | **Right click** the spot on the cloth            |
| Take your chips off a spot | **Shift + right click** the spot                 |
| Bet the same as last round | **REPEAT** on the rail                           |
| Double your bets           | **DOUBLE**                                       |
| Take back your last chip   | **UNDO**                                         |
| Take all your chips off    | **CLEAR**                                        |
| Open the menu              | **MENU**                                         |

The action bar shows your chip, what you have on the table and your balance (and the time left while bets are open). The chips appear on the cloth with the total of each spot, so everybody sees the bets.

Money is taken when the chip goes down. Chips taken back before the bets close give the money back.

### Classic tables

Classic tables have no cloth: **right click** any block of the ring to open the bet menu. The ring and the arrow inside it turn opposite ways; when they stop, the arrow points at the winning number.

## Betting in the menu

`/casino` near a table (16 blocks), or the **MENU** button, opens the table in a chest menu:

* The numbers 1 to 36 in order, then 0 (and 00), the dozens and the columns, then 1-18, even, red, black, odd and 19-36.
* **Left click** a spot to bet your chip, **right click** to take your chips off. **Shift + left click** asks for any amount in the chat (when `chat-amount` is on).
* The **chip** button: left click for the next chip, right click for the previous one, Shift + click for any amount.
* The **bets** button: left click repeats the last round, right click doubles, Shift + left undoes, Shift + right clears.
* The **clock** shows the state, the time left, your bets, your balance, the limits and the last results.

The menu updates by itself while it is open.

## More: stats, history, top, fair play

The **More** button (the book) opens:

* **My stats**: rounds, wins, what you bet and got back, profit, biggest win and today, per currency.
* **History**: the last results of the table, how many were red, black and green, and the hot and cold numbers.
* **Top players**: by profit, biggest win, most bet and most wins; for money or points.
* **Fair play**: the code of this round and the seed of the last one (see [Fair play](/rnsetups/rncasino/guides/fair-play.md)).
* **Payouts**: what each bet pays at this table.
* **Take a break**: how to exclude yourself (see [Responsible gaming](/rnsetups/rncasino/guides/responsible-gaming.md)).

## Betting with commands

Every command works on the nearest table (16 blocks), or on the table you name at the end.

| Command                                         | What it does                                   |

| `/casino bet <spot> [amount] [table]`           | Bets on a spot. Without an amount, your chip   |
| `/casino bet remove <spot> [table]`             | Takes your chips off a spot                    |

| `/casino repeat`, `double`, `undo`, `clear`     | Same as the buttons                            |
| `/casino menu [bet\|more\|stats\|top\|history]` | Opens a menu                                   |
| `/casino stats`, `top`, `history`, `fair`       | Stats, top list, last results, fair play codes |

Spots: `0`-`36` (and `00`), `red`, `black`, `green`, `even`, `odd`, `low` (1-18), `high` (19-36), `dozen-1`, `dozen-2`, `dozen-3`, `column-1`, `column-2`, `column-3`. Spanish names work too (`rojo`, `negro`, `par`, `impar`...).

Amounts can be written as `500`, `1,500`, `2.5k` or `1m`.

## Watching

Players near a table who don't bet see the round too, and get one chat line with the result. Big wins are announced to everybody (`broadcast-min-win`).
