# FAQ and troubleshooting

Answers to the most common questions.

<summary>What software and version does the setup use?</summary>

Paper 26.3 with Java 25. Java players from 1.7 up to 26.3 can join through ViaVersion, ViaBackwards and ViaRewind, and Bedrock players through Geyser.

<summary>How much RAM do I need?</summary>

8 GB is recommended for up to 20 players.

</details>

<details>

<summary>A hologram at /warp tops says "Board does not exist"</summary>

Create the leaderboards once from the console. See [Leaderboards](/rnsetups/ultimate-survival/features/leaderboards.md).

<details>

<summary>A command says "Unknown command"</summary>

The command is not in `plugins/CommandWhitelist/config.yml`. Add it and run `/cw reload`. See [Player commands](/rnsetups/ultimate-survival/reference/player-commands.md).

<summary>Bedrock players cannot join</summary>

Check that the Geyser UDP port is open and set in `plugins/Geyser-Spigot/config.yml`, and restart the server. See [Bedrock players](/rnsetups/ultimate-survival/configuration/bedrock-players.md).

<summary>The server does not start after deleting the world</summary>

Never delete only part of the `world` folder: the overworld needs its `world_gen_settings.dat`. Delete the whole overworld, nether and end folders, but keep `world/dimensions/minecraft/void` (the spawn).

<summary>Can I change the server name and colors?</summary>
